Text entered in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, is sent to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you elect to send and use them to answer.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that can include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated logs help us maintain the service and see which resources are useful. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How We Use Information
We use the limited data above to run the service, diagnose faults, measure visits, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to government portals, Lee County and North Carolina offices, library collections, and outside search services. Information submitted after leaving our pages is controlled by the destination’s privacy policy. That includes sponsored search results furnished by a separate company.
Who Can Receive Information
Vendors that host or support the service process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatic information already described. We may disclose data in response to valid legal process, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor information.
Safeguarding Your Data
Pages are delivered through an encrypted connection, and logs are kept only as long as their stated purposes require. Because there are no user accounts, we hold no account password or visitor profile.
Users Under 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Tell us if a minor submitted information so we can remove it.
Your Privacy Choices
Your place of residence may provide rights to inspect, correct, or erase personal data held by a website. North Carolina currently has no broad consumer deletion law that removes accurate information from government public records. We can check our contact mailbox and server logs for information tied to a request and remove what we control. Use the Contact page. Records held by Sanford, Lee County, or North Carolina offices remain under the custodian’s control.
